1. Size

First, if the size of the whole plate is composite, then the general surface of the product will be clearly and accurately labeled with the number of the whole plate, the size of the whole plate and the welding specifications. Second, the size of the weld channel is uniform, the width of the weld channel is uneven, the error of more than 5 mm is generally substandard products, in addition to the last weld channel of the torch. In addition, the welding specifications need to meet the requirements, otherwise it will be a substandard product.

2. Thickness and flatness

Different specifications of hardfaced wear plate thickness standards are different. Measure the middle of the weld path and take five values.

3. Surface molding

Surface molding has many details to pay attention to. First of all, observe whether there are pits (pits with a diameter greater than 4 mm and a depth greater than 2 mm are defined as pits) and whether the pits can be repaired with general repair marks. The repair area of a single crater is within 20 mm * 20 mm. Secondly, attention should be paid to whether there are gas holes on the surface of the weld bead (holes in the wear-resistant layer that are not filled by the deposited metal due to poor gas overflow). Secondly, look for poorly formed weld bead (caused by low current or wire), broken arcs, etc. Third, observe the combination of the matrix and the wear-resistant layer. Problems such as cracks in the substrate after welding, leakage of welding during welding, etc. are generally unqualified products.

4. Hardness and chemical composition

We can judge the good or bad of wear-resistant plate by visual inspection and calipers and other tools. And the hardness and chemical composition need to be detected by professional instruments. The chemical composition of the surfacing wear plate will be different depending on different applications and specifications as well as research and development; the capacity and production process of each company. The hardness of conventional wear plates should not be less than 55.
